<\/p>\nPhotographing this newborn family\u00a0with\u00a0a brand new, precious, magical little baby, after I have one of my own, is a totally different experience than it was before. \u00a0My ideas about what is meaningful, what matters the most, have changed so fully. \u00a0I was able to find it documenting Henry and his beautiful newborn family. \u00a0 I feel so honored to get to take these images of such a timeless moment in\u00a0this family’s life. \u00a0Henry was named after his grandfather and he has been told before that he looks like a wise little old man. \u00a0Those searching eyes that are centuries old, carrying with them the genes of grandpa, and everyone else who came before. \u00a0What a joy to get to be the photographer, the one whose job is to watch it and see it, and then share the smallest moments with such a loving family. \u00a0Will little Henry one day share these images with little great, great mini Henry, once he actually is a wise\u00a0old man? \u00a0These pictures of little Henry watching his mom, so carefully, blurry eyes but searching for the loving mama who carried him so far. \u00a0Somewhere between, I can’t actually see you, but I can hazy find you, I know you, you and I were the same cells last week. \u00a0A so, so sad older sister, who is also overjoyed and is feeling the grand\u00a0momentum of a new life, who still is a few weeks away from understanding that she has been gifted a new best friend for life, a baby brother. \u00a0His little perfectly formed hands, searching for big fingers to hold, the feeling of bright window light filtering through eyes and onto new skin. \u00a0How fragile these few early weeks are, how holy, how grand and how enormous. \u00a0What big, big love. \u00a0Henry is here!<\/p>\n
